随着互联网技术的飞速发展,短视频已成为跨文化传播的重要载体。YouTube作为全球最大的视频分享平台,为中国乡村短视频提供了广阔的传播空间。本研究聚焦于YouTube平台上的中国乡村短视频,通过分析其内容特征、传播策略以及受众反馈,探讨了中国乡村文化在全球化语境下的跨文化传播路径。研究指出,中国乡村短视频通过选取饮食、农耕生活等普适性的主题,成功吸引了海外观众的关注。通过多模态叙事手法,构建了丰富、立体的叙事空间;同时,视频中的生活美学元素不仅展示了中国乡村的独特韵味,也传递出了中国人对美好生活的追求和向往,通过共情传播策略,促进了文化的深度交流与理解。在中国乡村短视频走红的背后,代表着中国积极构建人类命运共同体的生活方式与价值理念。With the rapid development of internet technology, short videos have emerged as a significant vehicle for cross-cultural communication. YouTube, the world’s largest video-sharing platform, provides a vast space for the dissemination of Chinese rural short videos. This study focuses on Chinese rural short videos on the YouTube platform, analyzing their content characteristics, dissemination strategies, and audience feedback to explore the path of cross-cultural communication for Chinese rural culture in the context of globalization. The research indicates that Chinese rural short videos have successfully garnered attention from overseas audiences by selecting universal themes such as food and farming life. Through multimodal narrative techniques, they construct a rich and multidimensional narrative space. Meanwhile, the aesthetic elements of life in these videos not only showcase the unique charm of Chinese rural areas but also convey the Chinese people’s pursuit and aspiration for a better life. Employing empathy-based dissemination strategies, they facilitate deep cultural exchanges and understanding. Behind the popularity of Chinese rural short videos lies the representation of China’s proactive efforts in constructing a lifestyle and values that resonate with the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind.
